U.S. manufacturing construction spending has reached a new high, with an annualized rate of $206 billion, driven largely by a surge in electronics manufacturing construction, which has nearly reached $113 billion annually. This growth, especially in semiconductor fabricator construction, is largely attributed to the incentives provided by the CHIPS Act, reflecting a significant investment in the tech sector and its infrastructure.
