Hauling arms, ammunition, and explosives (AA&E) for the U.S. Department of Defense offers substantial financial rewards but comes with strict requirements, including rigorous background checks, continuous tracking, and specific equipment standards. Only a handful of trucking companies meet the criteria, with most drivers partnering with approved AA&E fleets and going through extensive credentialing processes. Despite the challenges, drivers, such as Josh and Krystal Jesse, have found their pay nearly doubled in the AA&E sector.
