At the Calexico border crossing between the U.S. and Mexico, a 51-year-old driver was arrested by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers while attempting to smuggle over 2,000 pounds of methamphetamine, valued at approximately $4.3 million. The drugs were cleverly concealed within a tractor-trailer carrying Brussels sprouts. The seizure was made possible through a mix of officer intuition, advanced technology, and a narcotics detector dog.
Can anybody in the trucking industry find out more information on this case..I’d like to know who set this load up.. was it the freight forwarder or the broker, Who was the carrier, Or is just going to be forgotten like all the other drug smuggling cases. https://t.co/Y3Wob5aF3T— 🇺🇸ErnestG123🇺🇸 (@ErnestG41269429) June 12, 2023
