$10M Drug Bust at World Trade Bridge

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents made a landmark seizure at the World Trade Bridge in Laredo, Texas, intercepting over $10 million worth of narcotics disguised as a shipment of cut flowers.
The bust, which occurred on December 21, involved more than 1,000 lbs of methamphetamine and over 100 lbs of cocaine.
Initially declared as cut flowers, the discovery was made during a secondary inspection of a refrigerated trailer, leading to a significant find: 165 lbs of powdered methamphetamine, 854 lbs of crystal methamphetamine, and 165 lbs of cocaine.
